We were happy enough, or at least not un-happy.
Is this the right way to be a mom/wife/home-maker/house-keeper?Unlike being at work, there’s no boss to tell you “good job.” There aren’t any co-workers to measure yourself against.

You just have to know.Or fake it really really well.. Am I doing enough?Well, I could physically do more.

I could get up yet another 30 minutes earlier and get one more household task done.Does that mean I should?.

Or am I doing too much cleaning and organizing?
All these people with their messy houses and their “just toss the mess out of the frame of the photo” attitude, are they on to something? If you’re not as confident with a saw as he is, I’d suggest just grabbing a few basic metal brackets while you’re at the hardware store buying your wood.. Something like this:.
Let all your wood glue dry and you’re ready to go!.I finished mine by using some dark wood stain and a few different colors of paint to make it look like it’s really been around.
I used a screw driver to really scratch it up good as well. You can see the cats have been helping me rough it up over the years too by scratching at the legs.
