A few leaves of lettuce on the bottom make for a nice presentation.. Now you can grab a box of crackers or a bag of tortilla chips, pop on the lid, and go!.
If you ask Chris about that time in our life he’ll tell you it was “The worst two weeks of my life.” That may be a little dramatic, but it still wasn’t working for us..Somehow the fact that a new, crisp white slipcover from Ikea is only $100 had escaped me during all this time.
I was under the impression that it was going to be hundreds of dollars.. Silly rabbit!.Nothing spectacular, but it’s fresh and white and clean and didn’t cost an arm and a leg.Best of all, it’s the same old sofa we know and love and we get to love it for just a little longer now.. Of course, this is how it looks most of the time now:.
I’m not scared of letting the animals on it, but the thick wool blanket protects it from any unnecessary paw prints..I think I’m going to be doing a whole lot of laundry.

Then when I moved the stuff back into the cupboards and onto the shelves that used to be there, I got rid of even more.Now that I’ve had to move stuff back into our bedroom again because we’ve decided to get all intense about this project, the amount of stuff is really very manageable.
If I hadn’t done a major decluttering, we probably wouldn’t be able to walk in here.The more stuff I get rid of, the more I feel like I can accomplish and the more I feel like our renovations are doing what they should do to make our home more functional for us.
