Step 3: Rinse the Washable Filters.Start by tapping off any excess dust and dirt into a bin bag.Then gently rinse the pre-motor filters with cold water, before repeating with the post-motor filter.. If you vacuum up broken glass with a bagless vac, make sure to empty the bin immediately afterwards.Sharp glass could scratch the canister if left to rotate with other dirt.
