The husband walked in, sat down at the kitchen table….
Since our walls are so wonky, and Chris is such a perfectionist, this project honestly took him about 4 full days to complete from dawn until dusk, but I’m soooo glad we went for it.. I’m starting to dream of a whole wall of built-ins in the living room now, and Chris is dreaming of the giant TV I said he could buy if he builds them for me!.If there’s anything I can do to help you get started on a project like this, please just ask!

It sounds a little crazy, but having this great storage in my kid’s rooms has really made a big difference in my day-to-day life! This one goes out to all of my Canadian friends out there: Happy Christmas Season! Now that Halloween is over with and since Canadian Thanksgiving happens in early October, the only thing left to do is get into the Christmas spirit!Let’s start this season off right, shall we?.

Today I’ll be giving away a gorgeous new American Standard bathroom faucet to one lucky Canadian reader.I really love a good faucet.

They’re like the crowning jewel of any good bathroom, but these ones are even better than just your regular faucet.
With American Standard’s new Speed Connect system, they’re even easier to install than ever before!I always find that if I try to DIY absolutely everything in a room, then I just end up seeing all the little imperfections here and there and for some reason it never seems quite “finished”.
If I store-buy everything though, it seems kind of lifeless and plastic. What’s a mom to do?
A few handmade projects to give the room soul and a few things that are bought, hung up, and then done make a room feel just right.. 3).When you start with blank walls, it’s so easy to start feeling like you’re over-filling the walls and starting to look like a crazy person.
