This one also makes no sense for my house, but this would be so fun in the right room.. Bilfold doors with trim added to make it look like an armoire.
So you can see that we’re up to our necks in perfect Fall scenery around here, but the time has come to start thinking about what I’m going to do for Christmas decorating this year..I have an idea that involves making a whole bunch of signs, which is convenient because A) I have a whole giant pile of wood sitting behind the garage that’s bugging me and B) I really like making signs..

I used Christmas Red acrylic for the base color and then just went a little nuts making it look like a bit of an old mess.I used my stamps and some Antique White for the lettering.. One down, fifty to go!.…and then I’ll go and change my idea, of course.

That’s how these things work.. Oh well, you can never have too many cute signs!.Subscribe by email to receive free posts straight to your inbox, or follow along using any (or all!)

of the methods below!I added a door knocker on to our mudroom door the other day..
My mom sent it to me a year ago when we moved in and I hadn’t gotten around to drilling it into the door, so it just sat in a drawer, waiting.. Well, I really wanted to see how it would look with our nice weathered brass kick-plate.1/2 cup of milk.
5 oz of good bittersweet chocolate finely chopped.2-3 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar.
Preheat your oven to 325.. Whisk the egg yolks, 1 tablespoon of the sugar and the salt together in a bowl..In a pot over medium heat, mix together the cream and milk and the rest of the sugar.
